He received his Ph.D. in 2011 from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Thessaly, Greece. He was a PostDoctoral Researcher - Marie Curie Fellow (ER) - for 2 years in Genoa, Italy (at Softeco Sismat S.r.l.). His research interests include: Semantic Data Management, Knowledge Bases and Decision Support Systems, Data/Information Analysis, Medical Informatics with emphasis on Computer Aided Diagnosis/Detection, Medical image analysis/processing and 3D visualization.
