Nikos Komodakis received his B.Sc., M.Sc and Ph.D (2006) from the Computer Science Department, University of Crete. He is currently a postdoctoral research associate at the Computer Science Department of University of Crete. He was for one year a postdoctoral research associate at the Applied Mathematics and Systems Laboratory at Ecole Centrale de Paris. He has been awarded a fellowship from the National Research Agency of France. He is co-author of about 30 journal and conference papers on pattern recognition, computer vision, medical imaging and graphics. His research interests include Optimization algorithms for Markov Random Fields, and their applications to Computer Vision, Medical Imaging and Computer Graphics.
