George Kafentzis was born in Kalamata, Greece, on July 26, 1983.
He received his B.Sc. in Computer Science from the University of Crete, Greece, in 2008.
He is currently a M.Sc. student in the Multimedia Informatics Lab at University of Crete and an undergraduate student
in the Mathematics Department at University of Crete.
His research interest is Speech Analysis and Synthesis with applications in Voice Conversion.
The subject of his thesis is about robust vocal tract estimation techniques with applications in voice conversion systems.
The thesis is supervised by Yannis Stylianou.
