Background

I was born on 1 December 1980, at New Smyrni, Athens, Greece.
I grew up there with my parents, two sisters and a lot of friends, dreaming to become an astronomer someday!

A few days after the fatal earthquake in Athens, in September 1999, I moved to Heraklion Crete,
in order to study Computer Science and I have stayed there since then.

In my spare time I like to take photographs. You can see some of my photos here.
Also I like reading literature, watching cinema, playing football and riding my Kawasaki Miramar.

Studies

I received my B.Sc. (2004) and M.Sc. (2007) from the Computer Science Department at the University of Crete.
I have also been a member of the Human Computer Interaction Laboratory of the Institute of Computer Science,
at the Foundation for Research and Technology, Hellas (ICS-FORTH) from July 2001 to January 2008.
