Members of the Department
The people who have been chosen to recruit the Department have also constituted its most powerful asset. They have become the driving force that led the Department to its current state of authority.
All faculty members are finely educated professors, who have graduated from some of the most well-known universities in Europe and the USA (Berkeley, Stanford, MIT, Princeton, Toronto, Brown, to name a few). They are people who can relate to the roots of systems thinking and they intend to define the methods, the aims and the principles of computing. Their research achievements have exceeded the boundaries of Greek academia; their research results have been published in the most prestigous international journals and conferences of their field.
