Please read carefully the following information, even though you are used to doing such tests !
This is a quality evaluation listening test. Please listen to each pair of sounds and rate them according to which one of them is better in quality.
For example:
- If the left recording is much better than the right one, select the most left button (+3).
- If the left recording is better than the right one, select the second button (+2).
- If the left recording is slightly better than the right one, select the third button (+1).
- If the two recordings are about the same, select the middle button (0).
... and the same on the other way.
Please note that File1 or File2 do NOT necessarily correspond to a specific model or algorithm.
Recommendations
- If there is any technical problem with one sound, select Prob.
- Absolutely use headphones. Do not use earphones or speakers.
- Verify that the sound is loud enough to hear the details properly.
- Do the test in a quiet place.
- Take the time to listen !
- Please, do not stop the sound before it finishes!
- Please, do not play audio files simultaneously !
- If there is any problem with the loudness of the sounds, and this prevents you from judging their quality, please select Prob.
